Obelisk Flour was a staple brand in Southern kitchens at the turn of the twentieth century, trusted for biscuits, cornbread, and the bread that fed families up and down the Atlantic seaboard. Local agents like C.E. Siceloff distributed it throughout North Carolina, placing ads in regional papers to announce fresh stock. A flour brand may seem ordinary today, but in 1910, the right flour was as important a household decision as any.
